Real leaders don't just manage, they also inspire, serve, collaborate, adapt, and transform!
For me, leadership is not about a title. It is about responsibility, showing up for people, and working together toward a shared goal and overall success. My journey began in the mathematics classroom, where I grew into roles as Head of Department (HOD), Vice Principal, and School Principal, leading a full K–12 institution. Over time, that journey carried me across continents to Purdue University, where I now serve as Vice President of the Graduate Student Education Council (GSEC). Along the way, every role has taught me one thing: the best leaders lift others up.
Beyond formal roles, I have also served in many other ways. I have facilitated teacher workshops, moderated national research symposia, mentored fellow graduate students, and volunteered at global education conferences. In each of these spaces, I have tried to lead with the same values: inclusivity, integrity, and genuine care for people.
Ultimately, I believe that meaningful change does not happen alone. It happens in the community, through trust, collaboration, and consistent effort. This page, therefore, is not just a record of roles I have held. It is a reflection of the people I have been privileged to serve and the communities that have shaped me just as much as I have tried to contribute to them.
